We give many kinds of music lessons in Orlando and in Titusville. We come to your location or you come to us. 30 minute lessons are $20 and 1 hour lessons are $40.
Jill Ann Heckert, singer, songwriter, multi talented instrumentalist and a lover of all forms of music is a vocalist, guitarist, pianist, teacher, director and a worship leader. Jill is joined by Katie Pearce, a college music student and Sharilyn Knowles, a local music teacher. Our goal is to offer a music school that is available day and night. In the future we hope to have a place where many children can come after school to participate in musical activities to enrich their lives. No child should be left behind if they have a desire to play an instrument or sing.
This is a performing arts school unlike any you may have heard of before. Each musician that comes to us is evaluated and tested for musical talent and gifts. As a way of extending our services, we offer help to those who have been diagnosed with special needs or to those who have visual, hearing or autism spectrum conditions. Katie has a special gift to teach these students and she is certified in American Sign Language. Katie is a student at the University of Central Florida studying music and special education.
Jill has a bachelor's degree in music education with an emphasis in vocal music and instrumental music from Evangel University in Springfield, MO with Orff Certification from University of Central Florida. She has techniques to help the pop voice, the classical, the church musician and the broadway voice. Jill loves to write songs that have a bluesy feel to them. Many of her songs have been recorded and are available for purchase. At Jubal's Place, each student is taken seriously and is given the very best training. Every individual or group that comes to us for help will find his/her talent and gifts are stretched and pulled to perfection. Many students have continued their musical training into college and some have become teachers, professional musicians or work in music related jobs. Many of our students perform with the Jubal's Place band or for some other concert/recital type venue at least once or twice a year.
Jill was the director of the Orlando Orange Blossom Barbershop Chorus of Orlando for three years. The group performed at the Orlando Museum of Art and they were highlighted guests at the WALK NOW FOR AUTISM at Disney's Wide World of Sports. See the pictures below taken at the walk. We are supporters of finding out more about autism.
The church is a familiar place for Jill. She has worked in many denominations including United Methodist, Assembly of God and non-denominational. She is currently an ordained music minister at Spirit Fire church and Director of the Spirit Fire School of Performing Arts in Titusville, FL. Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Classes for the school are held every Thursday from 1:00 a.m. through evening options.
Jill also helps out other churches. Currently, she is accompanist for St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church

Sharilyn Knowles is an elementary school teacher. She has devoted her life to teaching. Sharilyn is a graduate of Ithaca College in New York where she was an oboe major. Sharilyn teaches private piano and oboe lessons.
